TRUE

A certification for zero waste performance

Less waste, higher efficiency, better savings. TRUE (Total Resource Use and Efficiency) certification helps facilities  define, pursue and achieve their zero waste goals, cutting their carbon footprint and supporting public health.

TRUE is a whole-systems approach aimed at changing how materials flow. It encourages the redesign of resource lifecycles so that all products are reused. It promotes processes that consider the entire lifecycle of products used within a facility to minimize waste output.

A better approach to resource use

TRUE does not require big financial investments. TRUE implementation can be as simple as transforming trash bins into recycling bins and fostering a zero waste culture.

Cut your ecological footprint

Facilities pursing TRUE certification commit to reducing materials, recycling, considering the entire product life and reparability. This results in longer product lives, reparability and easier disassembly at end of life.

Support public health & ecosystems

TRUE supports systems that encourage material reuse and recycling, reducing the air, water and land pollution that threaten public health and ecosystems.

Advance a green economy

TRUE promotes environmental and economic sustainability while reducing costs and stimulating jobs.
