Zero Carbon Building – Design Standard (ZCB-Design) version 2 closed in 2022 with over 150 registrations. The sunset date to submit projects for ZCB-Design v2 certification is September 30, 2024. Projects must be submitted to CAGBC for certification review before this date. CAGBC will be reaching out to registered projects shortly to confirm their intent to certify next year.
Projects that do not submit will no longer be eligible for certification and will be removed from the project database. Projects requiring an extended timeframe may upgrade at no cost to ZCB-Design v3. Additional information on ZCB processes can be found in the ZCB Certification Guide.
