The LEED February 2025 addenda provided one significant change for LEED v4.1 BD+C/ID+C projects utilizing a District Energy System (DES): Reference Guide correction ID#100002620 adds several pages of new direction to the LEED v4.1 Beta Guides (BD+C, ID+C) under EAp Minimum Energy Performance for any project served by a DES. Other DES related updates were provided:
- Pilot Credit EApc95 Alternative Energy Performance Metric was updated to reference the large-scale district energy calculator.
- Pilot Credit EApc120: District Energy was closed.
As noted previously, the LEED Campus Guidance was also recently updated.

Reminder that project teams are required to adhere to the rating system and rating system addenda effective at the time of the project’s registration date. Utilizing later versions of addenda is acceptable (except for adopting the LEED v4 2024 Energy Update if the project was registered prior to its release). As 2024 came to a close, CAGBC proudly marked a major milestone.
