Internet Explorer sunset on June 15, and is no longer supported by Microsoft. Internet Explorer has been the most widely used browser for LEED Online, and as companies migrate to new browsers, USGBC will still fully support their pursuit of LEED certification.

For Canadian LEED v4 projects registered after April 18, 2022 and any projects using LEED v4.1 credit compliance options, project teams can access HTML forms. Efforts are underway to enable HTML forms for existing LEED v4 projects by the end of the year. The forms can be accessed by any browser and provide a fast, streamlined user experience. New features include quick and easy file uploads, prepopulated drop-down menus, automatic calculations, dynamic and intuitive tables, version control and automatic saving every 10 seconds.

Existing LEED 2009 and LEED v4 projects registered before April 19, 2022, are able to use any browser to access offline forms. The forms enable members of the project team to download them to complete and re-upload to LEED Online when ready.

You may have also noticed updates from USGBC on the sunset of LEED 2009; while the USGBC sunset LEED 2009 in June, LEED Canada 2009 projects can continue to submit to CAGBC for certification until October 31, 2022.
