Neighbourhood Development

LEED certification for neighbourhoods

LEED for Neighborhood Development (LEED ND) was engineered to inspire and help create better, more sustainable, well-connected neighborhoods. It looks beyond the scale of buildings to consider entire communities. Certification includes:

  • Plan for neighborhood-scale projects in any phase of planning and design, or up to 75% constructed. Helps developers market and fund projects by affirming their intended sustainability strategies.
  • Built project for neighborhood-scale projects that are near completion or were completed within the last three years.
