CAGBC Board of Directors ratified at the 2025 AGM

The Canada Green Building Council formalized its new Board of Directors at its Annual General Meeting (AGM), held at the JW Marriott Parq Vancouver on June 18, 2025. CAGBC’s volunteer Board of Directors is comprised of leaders representing a cross-section of the building sector. Their collective knowledge and experience aids CAGBC in advancing strategic priorities and programs in the building sector.
CAGBC members attended the AGM preceding the Building Lasting Change conference for an overview of CAGBC’s financial results, achievements in 2024 and future outlook. Among the decisions made by members was the ratification of the new Directors elected in 2025. Four seats were open for election to three-year terms, and the following Directors were ratified for appointment to the Board:
- Jody Becker, Chief Strategy Officer at the Greater Toronto Airports Authority and current Chair is returning for a second term after being elected to the Construction seat.
- Kathy Wardle, Principal, Regional Director of Regenerative Design at Perkins&Will was elected to the Professional Firms (Design/Architect) seat. This is Kathy’s first term as a Member of the Board.
- Darryl Neate, Vice President of Sustainability at REALPAC was elected to the Non-profit Organizations and Industry Associations seat. This is Darryl’s first term as a Member of the Board.
- Xavier Biot, Vice President, Digital Energy & Power Products at Schneider Electric was elected to the At Large seat. This is Xavier’s first term as a Member of the Board.
The remaining Board Members include:

- Lillian Tummonds (Vice-chair), Cadillac Fairview
- Tony Cupido, (Secretary) Mohawk College
- Jason Manikel, Purpose Building
- Nisha Agrawal, QuadReal
- Ailey Roberts, BentallGreenOak
- Kit Milnes, KingSett Capital
- Emma Schindler, Ash Grove (CRH Canada Inc)
