CAGBC is governed by a Board of Directors  committed to the Council’s mission to lead and accelerate the transition to efficient, healthy green buildings. Members of the Board represent key building industries across the country and bring their expertise to their work on the board. Every year, CAGBC calls for nominations from its membership for upcoming positions. This year, there are four seats open for election, each for a three-year term:

  • Professional Firms (Design): firms offering professional services such as architecture, interior design, surveying, landscaping, etc.
  • Construction: constructors, builders, home builders, trade contractors.
  • NPO and Industry Associations: organizations with research or professional interest in a sector or activity related to the design or construction industry.
  • At Large: organizations with vested interest in supporting a sustainable, carbon neutral build environment.

Nominations will be accepted from February 7 to March 4, 2022. Instructions about open seats, the requirements and the nomination process will be available soon at cagbc.org/elections
