Building Lasting Change™ (BLC), Canada’s green building conference, is bringing together industry leaders to share knowledge, build skills, and explore solutions for high-value, resilient, green buildings. With a strong focus on practice-oriented learning and real-world implementation, the BLC program is nearly complete, with confirmed sessions covering the Technical and Business side of green building on June 19, to the Industry Forums on June 18. It’s the perfect time to start building your BLC agenda and plan how you’ll make the most of your experience.

Inside the BLC learning program

The Business Stream
Gain insight into the financial, strategic, and market forces shaping the transition to energy-efficient, resilient, and low-carbon buildings. Sessions explore climate-risk valuation, investment decision-making, housing viability, urban transformation, and cost-informed planning — helping leaders align sustainability goals with asset performance, risk management, and long-term value creation.

The Technical Stream
Explore technical sessions grounded in real project delivery and implementation. This year BLC explores early-stage carbon decision-making, contractor-led procurement strategies, climate-resilient design, industrialized retrofits, municipal decarbonization, and innovative construction approaches — all illustrated through real-world Canadian case studies.

Industry forums
These collaborative sessions create space for focused discussions on sector-specific challenges and opportunities, offering peer-to-peer learning, shared experiences, and practical solutions drawn from across the industry. Learn more about Industry Forums.
