Have you tried using the Alternative Energy Performance Metric pilot alternative compliance path (ACP) EApc95 on your LEED v4 BD+C project?

Many Canadian project teams are leveraging this popular pilot ACP to assess energy performance using metrics other than cost, namely GHG emissions and source energy.

In particular, the popularity of EApc95 continues to increase as teams successfully demonstrate GHG emissions reductions.

In fact, LEED v4 BD+C projects benefit from a significant amount of flexibility in capturing their true energy performance. Options include:

  • The original LEED v4 BD+C requirements
  • LEED v4.1 BD+C credit/prerequisite substitution
  • The Alternative Energy Performance Metric pilot ACP (EApc95)
  • The NECB 2011 ACP
  • The Zero Energy Performance Index (zEPI) pilot ACP

See the LEED v4 Resources page for more details.

Note that the Alternative Energy Metric pilot ACP (EApc95) is not available to LEED Canada 2009 projects.
