As we approach our upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM), we are pleased to share an update regarding the selection of new Board members to fill vacancies.
Each year, the Canada Green Building Council’s (CAGBC) Nomination Committee selects candidates who best reflect the competencies, skills and experience needed to guide the organization. Following a thorough review of this year’s candidates, the Committee has identified a strong field of nominees whose expertise and vision align with CAGBC’s strategic priorities.
In accordance with our governance process, and as specified in the Board of Directors Nominations Package, all nominees have been acclaimed to the Board this year.
The acclaimed Directors will be formally presented to the membership for ratification at the Annual General Meeting in Montréal on June 17, 2026.
We thank the Nomination Committee for their thoughtful work and extend our appreciation to all candidates who put their names forward to support the work of CAGBC through the Board of Directors. We look forward to introducing the new Board leadership at the AGM.
