Members are the beating heart of the Canada Green Building Council (CAGBC), and serving on our volunteer Board of Directors offers you a chance to shape our work and future direction. Nominations for available seats on the Board are now open.

Who are we looking for?

CAGBC’s Board of Directors draws from across relevant industries and all regions of Canada to support our mission to advance efficient, healthy green buildings. Successful candidates bring knowledge and experience, and desire to support our mission.

How does it work?

CAGBC’s Nomination Committee is responsible for preparing a slate of candidates for the Board of Directors elections. This year, the Nomination Committee is accepting submissions to fill one seat from each of the following four building industry sectors:

  • Professional Firms
  • Construction
  • Not-for-profit Organizations and Industry Associations
  • At Large

The Nominations Committee is responsible for ensuring that the slate of candidates meets eligibility requirements, competencies and criteria to ensure that CAGBC is well governed and effective. We are committed to Board diversity and inclusion and encourage qualified professionals from all backgrounds to apply.

Experienced leaders meeting the nominating criteria are invited to submit their application by February 21, 2025 (11:59pm, PST).
