The 2026 CAGBC Awards  nomination window is now open — and we’re calling on the people and projects transforming how Canada designs, builds, and renovates for a low-carbon future.

Presented at Building Lasting Change — CAGBC’s national green building conference, happening June 17–19, 2026 in Montreal — these awards shine a national spotlight on excellence across the sector.

This year’s program includes two core streams:

Plus: Students can apply for the Andy Kesteloo Memorial Award for creative, future-focused project work.

Green Building Awards: Celebrating high-performance projects that raise the bar in sustainability and innovation.

Leadership Awards: Recognizing individuals, organizations, and public sector teams driving meaningful impact through vision, commitment, and action.

Why submit?

Entering the CAGBC Awards is your opportunity to earn national recognition, demonstrate leadership through action, increase visibility in Canada’s green building industry — and build a legacy that inspires and influences well beyond your team.

How to submit

There’s no cost to submit, and you can edit your nomination at any time before the March 18, 2026 deadline. Nominate a person, project, or organization making a real impact in Canada’s built environment.

Become a CAGBC Awards judge

With the CAGBC Awards competition opening, submissions will be reviewed by a panel of expert judges. We are inviting experienced CAGBC members to serve as judges, reviewing submissions and helping select this year’s award recipients. This is an opportunity to evaluate leading examples of excellence in sustainable building across Canada and recognize the projects, teams, and individuals driving real impact. To ensure fairness, judges must not be involved in any submissions. If you’re interested in lending your expertise, we’d love to hear from you.
