CAGBC is excited to announce that submissions are now open for presentation proposals for Building Lasting Change™, taking place June 17–19, 2026, at the Centre Sheraton in Montréal.

Business Stream – Green building as a value driver
If you’re a real estate executive, investor, or organization aligning building performance with financial outcomes, this stream is for you. Share how your projects or portfolios are:
- Managing transition risk and responding to climate-related disclosure requirements
- Unlocking capital through sustainable finance strategies
- Supporting investor confidence with verifiable performance
- Scaling high-performance housing or managing portfolio-wide decarbonizatio
Technical Stream – Practical solutions for high-performance, resilient buildings
If you’re directly involved in delivering high-performance buildings—through design, engineering, construction, or sustainability implementation—this stream is your platform to share proven, scalable solutions in the following areas:
- Applying LEED v5, Zero Carbon Building Standards™, and deep energy retrofits
- Reducing embodied carbon and implementing transition-ready design
- Advancing performance in priority sectors like housing, commercial, and industrial
- Using data and verification to demonstrate long-term building performance
Presentation format
Each stream will feature 3 to 6 one-hour sessions, delivered in person as part of the conference’s learning program. Sessions should blend expert content with engaging discussions and audience participation, focusing on practical, implementable solutions that deliver measurable value and performance.
