Make Connections

Opportunities to connect with peers and meet potential mentors are available in every region. Be sure to follow your local Chapter online to make sure you don’t miss any of these great new events.

  • Partner Events: Plan to attend our partnered events where you can meet people outside of your regular network and connect with other industry leaders who can help you further your career.
  • Campus Groups: Look for these events ramping up at post-secondary institutions across Canada where green building education, professional development and networking opportunities come together.

Access Experts

We’re looking to connect the next generation of green building industry leaders with those at the helm today. Look for:

  • The Mentor Lounge at Building Lasting Change where EGPs will have the chance to meet with Master Speakers and Industry Experts and find out how they got their start in green building

  • Internship Opportunities offer real-life project experience to graduates of the LEED Strategic Practices Program by posting top performers within a consulting firm or within the CaGBC’s LEED team.

We are looking for mentors!

Make a lasting impression on the future leaders of green building in Canada. Become a CaGBC mentor to share your expertise, passion and understanding of this growing industry with an Emerging Green Professional. They want what you have.

I would be a great mentor, how can I help?

Build Your Career

Built for Canada, the education and tools available through the CaGBC give EGPs the leg up on their career path.

Share this information with a local business, your employer, your network or your school and they can become a CaGBC Sponsor with an EGP Booster. $1000 covers travel, accommodation and registration for the nation’s largest and most important green building industry event. Contact us for more details.

  • CaGBC is a partner of two pioneering Austrian summer programs – Alternative Economic and Monetary Systems (#AESMVienna) and Green.Building.Solutions (#GBSVienna). The unique summer universities provide an exciting opportunity to  learn, debate and understand a different approach to “think for the future”. Learn more about the programs and how to apply here.
