DURATION: 1.5 hours
This course covers how renewable energy systems work and explores how the produced energy can benefit LEED projects. It provides participants with the background required to effectively perform a feasibility assessment for commercial scale solar photovoltaic systems through the use of RETScreen®. Participants will gain a solid understanding of the value in prescreening for early design options, as well as for calculating the final credits available under EAc2.
This course comes with materials that will instruct you on how to download RETScreen. During the course, the instructor walks through a case study designed to help participants become familiar with the software.
This course is taught by William Marshall of Equilibrium Engineering.
