Lessons Learned from the First LEEDv4 IDC Projects in Canada

DURATION: 1 hour

Join three different consultants and an owner to discuss challenges, solutions and lessons learned from various projects across the country. Attendees will gain insight into the process of designing and documenting a project for LEED v4 ID+C certification, from the importance of location selection, to creative solutions for new credit requirements, such as addressing the new material options. Participants will also learn about other LEED v4 ID+C credits that were sought, including the low-emitting materials and BPDO credits, construction waste management credit, energy credits, etc. Project types include both commercial office space and retail interior fit-outs from across the country.

This course will be hosted by Ryan Heays of CaGBC and delivered by Marsha Gentile of Ledcor Construction Ltd., Julie Hardy of Vertima Inc., and Ben Campbell of WSP Canada Inc.
