LEED® Canada NC 1.0
Certification support for this rating system closed June 21, 2017. New projects must register under LEED v4.
The LEED® Canada NC rating system applies to new construction and major renovations of commercial and institutional buildings, i.e., buildings regulated by Part 3 of the National Building Code. It also applies to retail, mid- and high-rise multi-unit residential buildings (MURBs), public assembly buildings, manufacturing plants, and other types of buildings.
Applicants with space that is not fitted out at the time of certification (e.g., intended for future lease) may wish to consider LEED Canada for Core & Shell. Applicants with 50% or less of the building fit-up for certification may use the Application Guide for Core and Shell Buildings and Leased Tenant Spaces as noted below.

LEED Canada-NC 1.0 Green Building Rating System + Addendum (2007) - outlines credit requirements and provides a credit checklist.
LEED Canada-NC 1.0
Note about the Addendum:
Projects registered to LEED Canada-NC 1.0 before February 29, 2008, may continue with version 1.0, or may use the addendum in its entirety or may use selected portions of the addendum on a credit-by-credit basis. Projects mixing LEED Canada-NC 1.0 with the addendum changes have to use a mixture of templates or make notations to the signed declaration. Furthermore, they must include the Application Matrix (xls) with their submissions to indicate which pathway is being used for each credit.
Projects registered to LEED Canada-NC 1.0 on or after February 29, 2008, will need to comply with the content of the addendum to achieve credits. All projects will be required to use the LEED Canada NC 1.1 Letter Templates.
LEED Canada-NC 1.1 is comprised of the 1.0 version plus the addenda. Version 1.1 was not released as a separate document.
The LEED Canada-NC 1.0 Application Guides are available to members through the following links. Non-members may purchase these documents in the Online Store. Following purchase, the documents will be available in the My Documents section of My CaGBC.
