Join us for a market update and lively panel discussion on the adoption of healthier building practices. During this exclusive event you will hear the perspectives of leading figures from commercial property management, health and wellness consulting, and the Canada Green Building Council, in a discussion about the status of health and wellness actions in commercial buildings in Canada. The panelists will discuss emerging trends, actions that can drive value for tenants and owners, challenges and opportunities in the commercial sector, and the different health related standards currently available in the market place.

About the panelists:

Thomas Mueller - Thomas is a Founding Director of the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) and became President & CEO of the Council in 2005. As Chief Executive, he leads the Council's national green building strategy, programs and standards along with advocacy and policy initiatives.

Ashley O’Neill - Ashley manages the development and implementation of CBRE’s corporate workplace strategy in Canada. She is coordinating the transformation of CBRE’s offices across the country as part of a strategic, multi-year project. As the global real estate leader, CBRE is focused on employee and client engagement, wellness and sustainability.

Peter Smith-  As Vice President of Delos Solutions, Peter leads a team of experts incorporating health and wellness strategies into commercial offices, schools and residential projects across the world. This work is primarily through the implementation of the WELL Building Standard, an evidence based system for measuring, certifying and monitoring the performance of building features that impact occupant health and well-being.

Darryl Neate- Darryl is Director, Sustainability at Oxford Properties Group - one of Canada’s leading commercial real estate firms with over 40 million square feet of Office, Retail, Industrial, Residential and Hotel property. Darryl leads Oxford’s sustainability strategy and works with colleagues, co-owners, business partners, and tenants on green building programs that make financial sense and improve performance.
