Time: 1:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. GMT

Event highlights

Halifax Regional Municipality and the Province of Nova Scotia are both in the process of creating Climate Action Plans to guide the policy path to 2050.  This session is designed for stakeholders to spend the afternoon exploring and mapping climate strategies related specifically to buildings.

Discussions will include topics such as retrofits, durability, and resilience and will explore the role that tools like the Zero Carbon Standard and the LEED rating system play in addressing Buildings as a Climate Change solution.

There is a morning session: Energy Benchmarking Stakeholders Roundtable from 9:00 – 12:00 pm on April 1, 2020.  This session requires separate registration.  Lunch will be provided for participants who register for both workshops.
