Green Building Bike Tour

 
         
  Hosted by the CaGBC Manitoba Chapter and Bike Winnipeg.

The tour will start in Old Market Square in front of Paterson GlobalFoods Institute. After the ride, snacks and 1 complimentary drink will be provided at Little Brown Jug.

  Green Building Bike Tour


DURATION:2 Hours
TIME: 6:30PM - 8:30PM CST

 
 
Join the Manitoba CaGBC Emerging Green Professionals (EGP) and Bike Winnipeg as they tour some of Winnipeg's best green buildings. Network with green building experts, learn about our sustainable buildings, and enjoy a bike ride through downtown Winnipeg. The event is open to everyone and the tour is taken at a leisurely pace so all styles of bicycles and bicyclists are welcome.

Green Building Bike Tour Route

Starting Point: Old Market Square (in front of RRC's Paterson GlobalFoods Institute)

Stops will include: 360 Main Street, Manitoba Hydro Place, University of Winnipeg - College for the Environment, Old Grace Housing Cooperative.

The final point along our bike tour will be Little Brown Jug. Join the Manitoba Chapter for a post-ride gathering and receive one complimentary drink!

We recommend helmets for all our participants, water bottles, and bike locks. Be sure to check your bike before the event - ensure tires are filled, chain is lubricated, brakes work, etc. The tour will be going rain or shine so be prepared for the weather.

Little Brown Jug has graciously permitted us to bring bicycles inside the facility at the end of the tour so your bike will be secure while you network!
