During this lunch seminar, the City of Vancouver and BC step code airtightness testing requirements were introduced, and attendees heard from experienced practitioners who are involved with the design, construction and testing of airtight buildings in Seattle, learning. what it really takes to design and construct an airtight building.

The Adoption of Healthier Building Practices in the Commercial Property Sector in Canada.

Attendees joined us for a market update and lively panel discussion on the adoption of healthier building practices. During this event we heard the perspectives of leading figures from commercial property management, health and wellness consulting, and the Canada Green Building Council, in a discussion about the status of health and wellness actions and commercial buildings in Canada.

Emerging Green Professionals Events:

The CaGBC's Emerging Green Professionals (EGP) are dedicated to providing the next generation of green building industry professionals with the tools, information and connections they need to be successful.

BCIT Research Facility Tour and Social

The Canada Green Building Council EGP (Emerging Green Professionals) Committee invited guests to join them on this tour of the Building Science Centre of Excellence, within the School of Construction and the Environment at BCIT. BCIT conducts leading edge applied research and establishes best practices for the industry in building science and building engineering. The tour ended at the Habitat Pub, for an informal social.

The Green Building Industry: Inspiring Possibilities

This was the first event hosted by our EGP group in Vancouver. "Inspiring Possibilities" gave industry insight into the rapidly growing green building and alternative energy field. Designed to be an open and relaxed atmosphere, attendees had the chance to ask questions, hear the perspective of industry experts and network.
