The annual Alberta Sustainable Building Symposium (ASBS) is a signature event of the Canada Green Building Council – Alberta Chapter and co-hosted by the City of Edmonton. Now in its 22nd year, ASBS attracts over 200 industry and government representatives with an interest in accelerating best in green building practices.

The Symposium is curated by a local program committee to provide exposure to best practices and innovations in the industry. This year, ASBS will feature 44 speakers, 30 exhibitors, three training courses, and three exciting tours over three days.

On Day two, attendees have the option of attending full-day “Accelerating to Zero,” sessions to explore the policies, programs, and innovations needed to achieve zero carbon buildings.

ASBS welcomes attendees from across the building construction and community development sector, including building materials and service providers, agencies and associations related to energy and environmental sustainability, commercial and institutional property managers, educators, as well as local and provincial government authorities.
