This year, the Alberta Chapter is hosting our 5th Annual Green Homes Summit at Red Deer College on April 5th in collaboration with Red Deer College, the Central Alberta Home Builders Association, Red Deer Construction Association, and Rethink Red Deer. Content for this Annual Event is sourced from the Membership, and curated by a cross-sectoral advisory committee to showcase leadership and innovation in the residential green building market, and provide insights into the future of green homes and communities in Alberta. This year’s themes include:

  • LEED for Homes
  • Energy Efficiency and Zero Carbon
  • Standards Codes & Rating Systems
  • Innovation in Materials, Techniques & Technologies
  • Healthy Homes
  • Affordable Sustainability and Accessibility

This event attracts between 100-150 delegates from across the residential home building market, including government representatives and industry associations. The event features a combined exhibitor showcase, tours of RDC alternative energy lab, and content specific to innovation and leadership in greening residential properties.
