About Us

With an ever-growing member network of building industry professionals, the CaGBC BC Chapter is dedicated to creating a cleaner, healthier, high-performance built environment through education, collaboration, and innovation.

The CaGBC is Canada's only member-based organization that is purely dedicated to the advancement of green building across the country.

Together, with our members here in British Columbia, and the vast network of industry professionals associated with our other six Chapters across the country, we can all play a vital role in the advancement and successful transformation of Canada's built environment.

In addition to the numerous benefits associated with membership such as discounts on education and events, access to information and Canada's largest network of green building professionals, your membership plays a valuable role in the Council's advocacy work and development and deployment of green building education.

The Chapter Leadership Board establishes regional strategies, initiatives and priorities, and contributes to the advancement of the nationwide mission and strategic goals by demonstrating strategic leadership, collective decision-making and representing a diversity of opinions and perspectives. As Chapters are part of the nationwide governance structure, the Chapter Leadership Boards have influence at the CaGBC Leadership Board level through representation on the Chapter Advisory Committee.
