The Application Guide for Campus and Multiple Buildings provides direction to project teams covering such topics as:
• establishing site boundaries;
• sharing infrastructure such as District Energy Systems;
• achieving LEED credits on a campus-wide scale;
• certifying multiple buildings built at the same time as a single entity;
• simplifying LEED documentation for shared or repeated elements.
Any Requirements outlined in the guide are in addition to those already documented in LEED Canada NC 1.0; the compliance paths described in LEED Canada-NC 1.0 are still available to Campus and Multiple-Building projects.
The application guide is free for CaGBC members and may be downloaded directly from the “Documents” section of MyCaGBC. Non-members may purchase the guide for $55. A supplementary document, the District Energy System Interpretation Guide, is included with the guide as an appendix.
