With members from all sectors of Quebec's building industry, and particularly from the engineering and architectural professions, our aim is to increase awareness and promote inter-disciplinary dialogue on the subject of sustainable development.

Initiated in Montreal in September 2003, and Chapter status granted in April 2005, the group seeks to encourage sustainable development throughout the Quebec region, and encourages the participation of all sectors of the building industry as members, sponsors, organizers, and participants in our many events.

Mission statement

The mission of the Quebec Chapter and of its members is the promotion and development of sustainable building practices throughout the region of Quebec.

Our goal is to provide a forum uniting the many stakeholders involved in the construction industry (i.e. professionals, manufacturers, property owners, developers, students) who are interested in green building and sustainable practices in Quebec.

We encourage a dynamic and harmonious approach to the integration of environmentally responsible construction principles within Quebec society and the sharing of knowledge and ideas within the construction industry.
