Akash Sinha, President of Dharma Developments, will discuss LEED certified residential development and construction in Ottawa, with specific reference to Dharma Developments’ LEED Silver project, Orville Station, in Stittsville.

Akash Sinha founded Dharma Developments in 2004 with the intention of building healthier communities through the use of innovative construction technologies and a commitment to green building. 

Dharma Development continues to give back to the community through their charitable fundraising party, Urbana, held annually, with the goal of preventing homelessness in Ottawa.

The Ottawa Region Chapter of the CaGBC hosts a  technical seminar over lunch on the third Wednesday of every month (July and August excluded).  Industry leaders provide one hour presentations on green building theories, best practices, and their application.
