DURATION: 1 hour
The conversation about green buildings is widening in scope to include more issues of human health. This is evidenced by a new focus on human health in LEED v4, as well as the emergence of the WELL Building Standard. In this session we will discuss health and wellness-related changes in the LEED v4 (BD+C) rating system from v2009. We will also discuss health and wellness, as addressed by the WELL Building Standard. This on-demand will highlight how the two rating systems, although different in their approach to address this topic, complement each other.
This course was delivered by Meaghan Kahnert, a Project Manager with WSP’s Sustainability and Energy group in Toronto.
