Project Fees
Registration fees are paid at the time of registration. A project is considered registered when payment of the registration fee is received.
Certification fees are paid when the project’s documentation is submitted. A project is considered submitted when payment and the documentation package are received; rates are determined by the later of the two. Certification fees should be calculated using the Certification fee submittal form, which must be completed and enclosed with payment (except for LEED® Canada for Homes
projects).
Registration and certification fees are not refundable and may change at any time.

Notes regarding LEED Canada for Homes:
The LEED Canada for Homes Rating System requires completion of on-site inspections prior to certification. Additional Provider and Green Rater verification costs apply and are based on market prices. Please consult the Provider of your choice for applicable rates and fees.
LEED Canada for Homes projects that register a number of multifamily buildings can save 15% per building on certification if buildings are submitted together and are identical from a LEED point perspective.
Notes regarding energy simulations:
LEED Canada-NC 1.0 and LEED Canada-CS 1.0 projects have the option of requesting an energy simulation review from a third party or asking the CaGBC to perform the review. When requesting the CaGBC conducts the review, an additional fee of $4500 (plus taxes) is required on top of the certification fee. Fees are to be paid when the documentation is submitted for certification review.
If requesting a review of more than one energy simulation (such as a multiple building project), the additional fee is required for each simulation.
