To become a member
All CaGBC members have the chance to influence the direction and the rhythm of the development of sustainable buildings in Canada. Members are the ‘raison d’être’ of our organisation; our events are organised in order to help networking while promoting, sharing, and learning about sustainable technologies and approaches for sustainable development. The backbone of the Quebec Chapter consists of the support, participation and the encouragement from our members.

Categories and Dues
Membership to the Quebec Chapter
Anybody who wishes to become a member of the Quebec Chapter of the Canadian Green Building Council (CaGBC) can register according to the following annual fees:
- Individual who wishes to join the Quebec Chapter of the CaGBC: 100 $ (plus taxes)
- Emerging Green Builders (EGB) – 35 year old or younger (a proof of age is required): 35$ (plus taxes)
- EGB and full time sudent – 35 year old or younger and full time student (a proof of age and a proof of full time study is required, such as a letter from the school): 20$ (taxes included)
- Corporate members of the CaGBC can pay 75$ (plus taxes) for their chapter membership, to do so, they must registered through their profile on the CaGBC web site.
Why become a member?
- To get involved in the development of sustainable buildings in Quebec;
- To establish a network of contacts based on similar interests;
- To have access to discounts on activities hosted by the Québec Chapter;
- To be able to vote for the board of the Québec Chapter;
- To be able to participate into the volunteer committees to help raise awareness and concrete action in sustainable development;
- Be eligible to join the board of directors of the Québec Chapter ;
- Complimentary subscription to SABMag or SAB Homes Magazine and Canadian Journal of Green Building & Design, please send an email to info@batimentdurable.ca to do so.
Membership to the CaGBC at the national level
You are a company or organisation? Register with the CaGBC as a corporate member (collective member). For more details please consult the CaGBC’s website.
N.B. Corporate members DO NOT automatically become members of the Quebec Chapter. If they wish to join the Quebec Chapter, they must pay their annual membership fee to the Chapter itself.
