Expert resources for your renovation

There are a number of great companies, individuals and incentives for those wanting to green their homes through renovation.

Provincial list

Featured below by province is a list of rebates available for green renovators (note, not all provinces currently have rebate programs), as well as expert companies that the Canada Green Building Council has worked with closely. These companies have proven and extensive experience in green building that can help you green your space. To view a directory of all CaGBC member companies, visit the Canada Builds Green Directory.

Natural Resources Canada incentive programs

In addition, Natural Resources Canada maintains an excellent page of incentives, including which provinces have a home retrofit incentive programs (up to $5000 back). A province that has a home retrofit incentive program will have a Rater (an individual) that can visit your home, test it for leaks and advise on the best upgrades to save energy and get an incentive payment. The national incentive site can be visited here.
