2017 Ottawa Region Chapter Leadership Board Election



The Ottawa Region Chapter of CaGBC is holding an election to fill 5 positions on the Chapter Leadership Board. The Leadership Board establishes regional strategies, initiatives and priorities, and contributes to the advancement of the nationwide mission and strategic goals by working collaboratively with CaGBC staff and the Chapter Advisory Committee (a Committee of the CaGBC Board of Directors), demonstrating strategic leadership, collective decision-making and representing a diversity of opinions and perspectives. Serving on the Chapter Leadership Board is a great way to get further involved in contributing to the transformation of the built environment at the regional level. 

Call for Candidates

We are now accepting applications for 5 positions on the 2017 to 2018 Board. The deadline for receiving applications is April 4th, 2017.

We are looking for individuals from the following sectors: 

Real Estate Owners, Developers, Managers [2 Year Term]
Professional Firms –  Engineers [2 Year Term]
Government and Policy – Municipal/Provincial Government [2 Year Term]
Emerging Green Professionals- New to industry and/or under 30 years of age [2 Year Term]

Statement of Interest and Qualifications Form   – standard self-nomination form for candidates to detail their background, skills and abilities.

Strong leaders meeting the eligibility criteria are encouraged to submit their application by April 4th (midnight, Easter Standard Time) to kbouffard@cagbc.org. Applicants must be Ottawa Region Chapter Members in good standing at the time of application.
